Commission Art
Over the past years, I have worked closely together with my clients to create a range of meaningful commissioned artworks. These commissions have included everything from portraits of beloved pet alpacas, to spirit and dream animals for children, as well as a variety of custom animal portraits and nature-inspired pieces.
Please note that my work is created in an illustrative watercolor style and uses watercolor as my primary medium.
If you are interested in commissioning a custom artwork, I would love to hear from you. Please feel free to contact me at any time to discuss your ideas and vision for a personalised piece.

How does a commission work?
If you are interested in commissioning an artwork, please feel free to contact me via email. I will then get in touch to discuss your ideas and vision for the piece.
To help design your custom artwork, I may ask a few questions, including:
-
What size you are considering
-
What subject, animal, plant, or image you would like featured
-
Preferred colours, mood, or overall style
-
Any special details, memories, or meaningful elements you would like included
I enjoy working closely with my clients throughout the creative process and will provide regular updates as the artwork develops. This allows opportunities for feedback and ensures the final piece reflects your vision while remaining true to my artistic style.
Every commission is a collaborative process, resulting in a unique and personal artwork created especially for you.
How much is a commission?
The cost of a commission varies depending on:
-
The size of the artwork
-
The level of detail involved
-
The complexity of the subject matter
-
Whether framing is requested
As a general guide, miniature watercolour commissions begin at approximately $80 AUD.
Larger or more detailed artworks are individually quoted, and I am happy to provide an obligation-free estimate once we have discussed your ideas.
Please feel free to get in touch if you would like a personalised quote.

How large can an artwork be?
My commission paintings can be created from miniature size (10 x 10 cm) up to A3 paper size.
I am also happy to discuss larger custom pieces upon request. Please note that larger artworks may incur additional costs due to the increased price of specialty watercolour paper, framing requirements, and materials.
If you have a specific size in mind, please feel free to get in touch to discuss your ideas.
Can I choose a frame for my painting?
Yes. I work closely with a professional framer and can organise framing for any artwork if desired.
Framing costs are additional to the commission price. You are welcome to choose:
-
Frame colour
-
Frame material
-
Matboard colour
-
Matboard style
This allows your finished artwork to perfectly complement your home, office, or gift recipient's space.
How long does a commission piece take?
Most commission artworks take approximately 2–4 weeks to complete.
The timeframe may vary depending on:
-
The size of the artwork
-
The level of detail involved
-
My current commission workload
Once we have discussed your artwork and confirmed the details, I will provide you with a more accurate completion estimate.
Please note that the Christmas period is always particularly busy. If you are commissioning an artwork for a special occasion or as a gift, I recommend contacting me as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
How can I pay for my artwork?
Once the artwork details and size have been confirmed, payment can be made via:
-
PayPal
-
Direct bank transfer
Payment information will be provided during the commission process.
Will I receive a Certificate of Authenticity?
Yes. Every original artwork comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity, confirming that the artwork is an original piece created by the artist.

While my packaging aims to minimise environmental impact, all artworks are created using high-quality professional art materials to ensure their longevity, vibrancy, and archival quality for years to come.
